Bowls Baby, Melbourne CBD & Essendon

By on January 7, 2022 in 100% GF Reviews, Melbourne with 0 Comments

Bowls Baby is a casual healthy meal cafe offering fresh food bowls that are 100% gluten free, along with no artificial flavours or added sugars.  So if you are looking for a quick gluten free meal in Essendon or the city, Bowls Baby is a great option.

The bowls

Our favourite bowl so far is the Caesar Cardini but I have also really enjoyed the Mofu-tofu which is a great vegan option.  The serves are big!!  There are also breakfast bowls if you are after something sweet.

The menu

The menu is available online if you want to check in advance, and you can also order online to collect or deliver.

Choose a Bowls Baby selection or make your own. The online menu has all the nutritional information, so great if you are avoiding a particular ingredient or want to know the carbs.   Dairy free and vegan meals are marked up.

Snacks and drinks

If you just want a snack, or want to add something more to your meal, they also have sweet potato fries, edamame beans, smoothies, shakes and protein balls.

Both stores have tables to eat in or you can takeaway.  Note that if you eat in, you are still given a takeaway container to eat from.
If you are going to the Essendon store, we have got takeaway and driven a short distance to Queens park in Moonee Ponds to eat our lunch watching the ducks on the pond 😉

Catering is also available, so a great idea for a party or work lunch.
