Goodness Gracious 100% gluten free cafe in Cooroy, QLD *closed*

Goodness Gracious is a gluten free cafe in Cooroy, near Eumundi. It is a daytime cafe with an all day breakfast menu as well as sandwiches or frittata if you want a more traditional light lunch.

They bake everything on site except for some of the breads, so they know exactly what is in their food. The menu is clearly marked up for dairy free, sugar free, vegetarian and vegan options.

This review was from when they were located at Yandina (closed Jan 2020) and they are now in  Cooroy, north of Eumundi.

A crepe is one of my favourite foods, so it was a no brainer to have the moroccan chicken and mushroom crepe for my lunch. It didn’t disappoint, with all the flavours merging together beautifully and the crepe was a good texture.

Others in my group went for bread based options, with poached eggs on toast on the left and an open sandwich on the right (there are two pieces of toast underneath all the salad and bacon). Even though they didn’t need gluten free, they still enjoyed the bread.

There was a good choice of sandwich toppings, plenty of brekky favourites like egg and bacon, smashed avocado and a veggie brekkie. Don’t forget to check the cabinet at the counter for frittata and salad options not mentioned on the menu, as well as a good variety of cakes and slices.

Drinks include tea, coffee, freshly squeezed juice, iced tea and more.

Don’t leave without having some cake. I took away the banana, ginger and lime cake which was absolutely divine. It was a huge slice, so I had half for afternoon tea and saved the rest for the next day.

We really enjoyed our lunch at this lovely gluten free cafe!
