UK 100% gluten free – East Anglia
Welcome the East Anglia 100% gluten free page, one of a series of 100% gluten free in the UK. This post covers Norfolk gluten free and Suffolk gluten free.
The criteria I used for inclusion, was that the business has to be:
- 100% gluten free (ie no cross contamination risk), and
- have its own outlet that you can visit, such as a shop, café or a stall at a market.
If you know of a business that fits the criteria that is not listed, please let me know via the contact page.
NOTE: THESE LISTS ARE NO LONGER ACTIVELY BEING MAINTAINED BUT YOU MAY STILL FIND SOMETHING USEFUL HERE!
This listing was last updated in August 2019.
NORFOLK
Your Gluten Freedom (Norwich)
We bring together everything that is great about being Gluten Free in Norfolk. We run food events, arrange networking, give advice and raise awareness. The Norfolk Gluten Freedom Expo gives local producers to showcase their gluten free goodies. There will also be talks and seminars on the gluten free diet.
Expo usually held at The Forum, Norwich, Norfolk.
Expo held twice a year – check Twitter @yourglutenfreed for updates
Free entry – in October each year
Doors will be opening from 10am until 4pm, with cookery demonstrations inside, and talks in the auditorium throughout the day. There will also be opportunities for the trade to network, meet the producers, and source local ingredients. There will be street food and a BBQ, ready to eat goodies and delicious treats to take away.
On sale will be amazing artisan breads, cakes, cookies, chutney, cereals, honey, beer, cider, cooking sauces, pies, flour, store cupboard ingredients, quiches, make-up, beauty products and much more. Exhibitors include The Gluten Free shop (see entry above). There will also be health experts and organisations offering support and advice.
