UK 100% gluten free – South East England
South East England – 100% gluten free
Welcome to this series of posts aiming to capture all the 100% gluten free venues in the UK. This post covers Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, Sussex, Kent, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
For other regions of the UK, including London, please see the UK 100% gluten free page. Please subscribe (see box to your right), or connect via Facebook or Twitter for updates.
The criteria I used for inclusion, was that the business has to be:
- 100% gluten free food (ie no cross contamination risk), and
- have its own outlet that you can visit, such as a shop, café or a stall at a market.
If you know of a business that fits the criteria that is not listed, please let me know via the contact page.
Use the headings below to jump to your preferred area, or if you would prefer a printable list, please see the restaurant lists page.
You can also zoom out & drag the mouse on the map to see if there is anything in your area.
Hampshire
The Compass Inn (Winsor)
This pub is owned by a gluten intolerant landlady who has made the menu entirely gluten free. Winsor is between Southhampton and the New Forest national park. If you also have a dog, it is a dream come true to have an entirely safe meal with your dog at your side as the pub is dog friendly too!
The food is traditional pub food at a good price. You can see in the menu above there is a wide variety of meals and below is an example of a roast dinner and fish and chips.
You will also find plenty of dessert options (#fruitisnotadessert)!
I have seen mention on social media that they are a predominantly adult only pub and children must be well behaved. Kitchen open 7 days for lunch and dinner.
