Glenelg gluten free chicken and chips – Chick n’ Chips 100% gluten free

Glenelg gluten free chicken and chips

Chick n’ Chips is the place to go for Glenelg gluten free chicken and chips. They are located in Glenelg South, just a 5 minute drive from the more touristy area of Glenelg in Adelaide.  It is 100% gluten free and we went a couple of times during our week stay in Adelaide, after a long day out and about.  They serve more than chicken, though, with burgers, dim sims, fish and chips, salads and desserts also on the menu.

I really miss a traditional roast chicken and chips and loved having a safe meal. Even with a quarter chicken, some of the rice based stuffing is included and if you are gravy fan, you have it on your chips.  The chicken rolls use the same buns as the burgers and a decent amount of chicken is included.

Apologies for the poor photography, but we had driven back to our hotel room in Glenelg and just wanted to eat!

If you don’t want chicken, there are other options – the burger to the right is the ‘sausage dawg’ and we both enjoyed a fried dim sim.  There are also sweet potato chips, onion rings and haloumi chips.

I did sample a cinnamon donut for dessert which was a nice treat or if you like pineapple, there is a pineapple fritter option.
